Project deep dive and one-to-ones at major Scottish offshore wind event

Inch Cape team members hosted more than 40 one-to-one sessions with current, future and potential suppliers at this year’s Scottish Renewables Offshore 2026 event in Glasgow.
Inch Cape once again had a Meet-the-Buyer Business Booth at this flagship event which ran over the two-days in late January enabling local suppliers to find out the latest on the project and make connections for future work on construction as well as into operations & maintenance.
The project team has already followed-up with key contacts to build on the introductions and progress the initial conversations.

Inch Cape also hosted a panel session which brought a highly practical, real-world perspective to offshore wind construction today.
The session included an overview of the progress so far and what’s to come from Inch Cape’s George Cobb as well as insights from four Scottish-based Inch Cape suppliers sharing first-hand experience, contracting strategies and methods for success.
With thanks to guest panellists: Patrick Bastiaanse (N-Sea), Bob Porter (Motive Offshore Group), David Darr (OEG) and Callum Hogan (Forth Projects, Forth Ports) each supporting Inch Cape’s offshore construction in a different way. The presentation slides can be viewed here.
