OEUK Share Fair 2025 – 19 March 2025, P&J Live, Aberdeen
Inch Cape presented at this essential annual energy supply chain event, which aimed to connect companies working in oil & gas, offshore wind, hydrogen and CCS and was supported by the North Sea Transition Authority. The team provided an update on the project status and contracting opportunities, and met with many suppliers interested in working with Inch Cape and our Tier 1s. Scottish Renewables Offshore 2025 – 22/23 January 2025, Glasgow SEC
Inch Cape once again took a Meet-the-Buyer Business Booth at the flagship Scottish offshore wind event held over two days in Glasgow. The team met with more than 20 suppliers for one-to-ones and the project’s Head of Revenue and Stakeholder Relations, Rosemary Kennedy provided provided a thorough project update.

Webinar: Fixed foundations for the future – XXL monopiles and deep water jackets – 21 November 2024
Thanks to the almost 500 who joined us for this update on the project which included a deep dive into the rationale behind the project’s use of both monopile and jacket foundations, and their design with presentations from engineering designers SLPE and Ramboll, it will also introduce the project’s monopile suppliers – Dajin and CWHI– to a wider audience, enabling them to outline their scopes on Inch Cape and outlook for the future use of XXL monopiles. Launch Academy Scotland Briefing Webinar – Monday 29 July 2024
Launch Academy Scotland is an industry-backed technology accelerator programme for Scottish-based companies that aims to support the commercialisation of new technologies and is proudly supported by Inch Cape. Event attendees heard from ORE Catapult on the programme offering and timetable, as well as from programme sponsors on their projects and technology challenges, and Launch Academy alumni (Verlume). Inch Cape Expo – 12/13 June 2024, Forth Ports, Leith
The Inch Cape Supply Chain Expo was held over two days (12/13 June 2024) at Forth Ports’ Leith Cruise Terminal, Edinburgh. Ten of the project’s Tier 1 suppliers attended to meet with potential suppliers and take part in more than 300 one-to-one meetings. This included: Smulders, Vestas, Forth Ports, NG Bailey, Careys, Port of Montrose, Heerema, Orient Cables, Granada and Careys sharing their contracting requirements. There were port tours, update presentations and opportunity to speak with the clusters and Offshore Wind Growth Partnership as well as ample time for networking with other attendees.
It was also the first view for the Inch Cape Film which was launched on the first day.

Working with Inch Cape: supply chain lessons and learnings webinar – April 2024
Inch Cape hosted a free webinar with more than 230 attendees in April 2024. Those who dialled in heard ideas on how to improve their offering to ensure they are presenting themselves in the best light and got an insight into Inch Cape’s procurement process and contracting opportunities. The webinar also included a status update as the project heads into full construction. Feedback forms provided the opportunity for attendees to comment on how developers can better support them. OEUK ShareFair 2024 – 20 March 2024, Aberdeen
The Inch Cape team hosted a series of around 25 one-to-ones meetings, exhibited and held an update presentation and at this year’s Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) Share Fair at P&J Live in Aberdeen on Wednesday 20 March 2024. Around 700 delegates registered for the event which gave Inch Cape an opportunity to present its progress to date and meet potential Scottish and wider UK-based suppliers. Scottish Renewables Offshore Wind Conference 2024 – 24/25 January, Glasgow
Project representatives met with more than 20 potential suppliers at the Inch Cape Meet-the-Buyers Business Booth (aka the pink igloo) at Scottish Renewables Offshore Wind Conference 2024. A wide range of suppliers presented their companies in a series of one-to-ones on 24 and 25 January in Glasgow. Inch Cape also supported Norwegian Energy Partners (Norwep) via an update presentation on the project and a number of one-to-ones. The team will follow-up the conversations with suppliers as part of ongoing dialogue.
Substations supply chain event for suppliers – September 2022, Musselburgh
Siemens Energy and Iemants will supply the wind farm’s substation platform, with fit-out and assembly of the offshore transformer module (OTM) and its jacket foundation taking place at the Smulders yard in Wallsend, Newcastle, before transportation by sea to the wind farm location off the Angus coast.
An event, held at Musselburgh Race Course on 13 September 2022, highlighted the wide range of opportunities for local businesses on the construction, transportation and installation of the project’s onshore and offshore substations, and the delivery timelines.
