ORE Catapult, the UK’s leading technology innovation and research centre for offshore renewable energy, has published an impact report summarising the deliveries from the programme which ran from November 2024 to May 2025. You can read the full report here.
Inch Cape was a founding supporter of the programme which set out equip 10 companies with the tools they need to succeed and grow in the offshore wind sector, shaped by industry challenges set by a panel of leading offshore wind developers.
Participants received tailored support through modular delivery, including one-to-one mentoring, peer-to peer learning, and expert-led workshops, all coordinated by ORE Catapult’s innovation team.
The 2024/25 Launch Academy Scotland programme delivered:

The 10 Scottish companies that took part in the nine-month programme were:
AJT Engineering Ltd. | Fathom Group | FENNEX | Kraken Robotics | Revive Geoscience Services | Smarter Subsea | SubWorx Ltd | Airspection | Frontier Robotics | Innovair™
As well as being supported by Inch Cape, Launch Academy Scotland was also sponsored by: Ocean Winds; Blue Float Energy I Nadara Partnership; Scottish Enterprise; Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise. “Supporting Launch Academy Scotland has been mutually rewarding,
enabling us to engage directly with emerging innovators and in turn connect them with our extensive network of supply chain partners. This hands-on involvement helped accelerate the development of practical solutions and fostered
collaborations that continue to grow. Even now that the programme has concluded, Inch Cape remains committed to supporting cohort organisations, helping them navigate commercial pathways and integrate into the wider offshore
wind ecosystem. It’s a legacy approach that reflects our long-term commitment to
innovation and sustainable industry growth.”– Inch Cape
