Long-term support relationship evolving with the project
Taylor Hopkinson is a leading recruitment and global mobility service provider in the offshore wind sector. Glasgow-headquartered, the Taylor Hopkinson team has supported Inch Cape since 2017, working with the project’s two joint venture partners to deliver more than 100 key contract personnel including package managers, installation leads and engineers.
In 2024, Taylor Hopkinson was asked to provide further support to Inch Cape beyond the project’s 2025 financial close having been awarded a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) surveillance contract. In partnership with Brunel, Inch Cape is the seventh consecutive offshore wind farm where the firm has delivered QA/QC services for UK and wider European clients fabricating components in China.
Outcome
Taylor Hopkinson’s specialist teams have supplied engineering, consenting and development specialists on the Inch Cape project for more than eight years and will continue to do so throughout its current phase of works, including manufacturing, construction, offshore installation, and commissioning scopes. Given its long-relationship and wide experience, Taylor Hopkinson has been able to develop and add value through comprehensive extra services such as immigration and payroll, to ensure full in-country compliance with tax and social security regulations.
Scottish but with a global presence that spans all the key fabrication yard locations, Taylor Hopkinson’s ongoing work with project’s like Inch Cape has meant that it has been able to uniquely position itself to connect renewable energy specialists with pioneering projects worldwide – ensuring service, quality, and compliance across more than 45 countries.
