Denholm Port Services is a Scottish firm representing the interests of shipowners and charterers across the UK. The firm offers port agency, customs brokerage and cargo management services with expertise that covers all types of ships and vessels.
For Inch Cape, Denholm Port Services will provide port services at Leith and Montrose while also sourcing sub-contractors across a wide range of potential ship and port-related requirements. These range from crew change, accommodation, and consumables to sea-fastening materials, dunnage, tools, and fencing (as required). The varied scope also includes for example: marine warranty survey, security/patrolling services, DNV-certified offshore and office containers, and lease or hire of vehicles.
Outcome
As a local Scottish company, Denholm is committed to supporting and helping to grow the local supply chain. Through this Inch Cape scope of work, the Denholm team is well-placed to source from across the regional cluster, and showcase the ports of Leith and Montrose as leading marshalling and operations and maintenance bases for the offshore wind sector. The experience gained through the Inch Cape activity will be able to be leveraged for the INTOG and ScotWind projects to come.
